To access the virtual machine console of a template
1Intheleftpane,clickVMTemplates.
2Movethepointeroverthenameofadeployedtemplate,andchooseViewConsole
fromthemenu.
Importing Virtual Machines from VirtualCenter to New and
Existing Configurations
Whenyouaddavirtualmachinetoaconfiguration,onlyStageManageradministrators
havetheoptiontoimport(copy)avirtualmachinefromVirtualCenter.Formore
instructionsonaddingvirtualmachinestoanewconfiguration,see“Creating
Configurations”onpage 121.
To import a virtual machine from VirtualCenter for a new configuration
1Intheleftpane,clickServices.
2Movethepointeroverthe
servicenameandchooseDetailsfromthemenu.
3ClickNewConfiguration.
4Enteranamefortheconfiguration.
5 (Optional)Enteradescriptionoftheconfiguration.
6(OptionalforDHCPIPaddressallocation)Changethenetworkinginformationfor
thegateway,subnetmask,andDNSsettingsforthevirtualmachines.
Thedefaultnetworkingvaluesarethe
samevaluesintheGeneraltabofthe
Networkpage.
7Specifyatimetodeletetheconfigurationormarktheconfigurationfordeletion.
