thenon‐virtualsmartcardreadertothevirtualsmartcardreader.
To switch to using the virtual smart card reader on Linux hosts
1Todisconnectfromthenon‐virtualsmartcardreader,usetheRemovableDevic

menuandselectDisconnect.
2PoweroffthevirtualmachineandexitWorkstation.
3 Physicallydisconnectthesmartcardreaderfromthehost.
4Restartthepcscddaemononthehost.
5 Physicallyconnectthesmartcardreadertothehost.
6StartWorkstation,poweronthevirtualmachine,andconnecttothevirtualsmart
